What Feedback Agent does

Feedback Agent catches unhappy guests privately at check-close, before they go public. It texts every guest, routes a drafted apology or comp to your phone for approval when something went wrong, and invites every guest — happy or not — to leave a public review. Nothing is filtered or gated.

Most unhappy guests never tell you — they simply don't come back, and a few post a public one-star that scares off dozens more. By the time you see it online, the guest is gone and the damage is done.

Where the money goes

Three leaks Feedback Agent closes

Leak No. 1

The guest who just leaves

The service-recovery paradox: most unhappy guests never complain to you — they simply don't return. You never get the chance to fix it, and you never even know it happened.

Leak No. 2

The one-star that scares off thirty more

One bad review sits atop your Google and Yelp for months. It takes roughly forty five-star reviews to undo the damage of a single one-star — and most diners avoid a place over one bad rating.

Leak No. 3

Feedback you never collect

Paper cards and “how was everything?” catch almost nothing. So the themes that quietly cost you covers — slow entrées, a cold plate — stay invisible until they surface in a review.

How it works

Three steps, no new software

01

It catches.

Every guest gets a text on check-close plus a table QR, powered by your POS. When someone flags a cold plate or a slow entrée, the agent catches it while they're still at the table.

02

It recovers — with your approval.

An unhappy guest triggers a private recovery path: the agent drafts the apology and any comp, then routes it to your phone. Nothing sends without your tap.

03

It routes reviews the clean way.

Happy guests get a one-tap Google link in their own words. Every guest is invited to post — none filtered or gated. Gating breaks FTC rules and Google policy; the agent keeps you clean.

Why AgentHood

Built for your room, not a chain

Most review tools are built to squeeze more stars out of your happy guests and quietly bury the unhappy ones. That's backwards, and under FTC rules it's now illegal. We built this to save the guest first and earn the star honestly.

— Jason PieroniFounder, AgentHood Operators

You approve every word

Nothing this agent says to a guest goes out without your tap. Sensitive moments route to your phone, your voice is set from your own menus and the way you actually talk, and you can turn any behaviour off in one message.

Questions owners ask

Isn't this review gating?
No — and the distinction matters legally. Gating means only inviting happy guests to post publicly. Every guest here gets the same invitation regardless of what they said privately. Gating violates FTC rules and Google policy; this is built specifically to avoid it.
What does “service recovery” actually look like?
A text arrives on your phone: what went wrong, which table, and a drafted apology with an optional comp. You tap to send, edit it, or call them yourself. Same night, before they're home.
Does it work without Toast?
Yes. Check-close texting is smoothest with a connected POS, but the table QR path works anywhere and catches the same guests.
